Users will undoubtedly have more
control over the communications they send and receive if additional
disappearing message lengths are added. We believe that the one-hour time limit
could be especially helpful for messages containing sensitive or secret
information because it enables users to send a message that vanishes
immediately, preventing the message from being retained on the recipient's
device for an extended period of time.
Although the screenshot was taken
from the WhatsApp Desktop beta, we can confirm that WhatsApp is working to
include these new durations in an upcoming update of the WhatsApp beta for iOS
and Android. This will guarantee that users on all platforms have access to
these new options for configuring disappearing messages.
In a future update of the software,
the option to choose different durations when configuring disappearing messages
will be made available. As always, if we have new information to share with
you, we'll post it on our website as a new article. Receive if additional

This article is based on a report by
WABetaInfo, a website that tracks the latest updates and features of WhatsApp.
You can read the full report here. WABetaInfo is a trusted source of
information for WhatsApp users and developers, as it often reveals new features
before they are officially announced. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is
testing a new feature that will allow users to send disappearing photos and
videos in chats. This feature is similar to Instagram's vanish mode and
Snapchat's self-destructing messages. We thank WABetaInfo for their valuable
insights and contributions to the WhatsApp community.
